Manitoba Reconciliation & Relief Outreach

Bringing Food, Healing, and Hope in Jesus’ Name:A collaborative outreach focused on reconciliation, healing, and equipping the local church to bring lasting hope across Manitoba.

Vision

This season, Discovered Freedom Ministries is partnering with the local church in Winnipeg and Indigenous community leaders to strengthen outreach already happening on the ground – bringing practical relief and Spirit-led ministry to families impacted by wildfires and ongoing trauma.

Our goal is not to start something new, but to equip, support, and serve what God is already building locally.

We believe lasting change happens when the Body of Christ works together — listening, praying, and serving side by side.

“He has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”— 2 Corinthians 5:18

What We Bring

Food for the body. Healing for the heart. Hope for the future.

Each outreach team will:

  • Distribute food, blankets, and basic relief supplies to evacuees.
  • Offer gentle, Spirit-led healing prayer for emotional and spiritual restoration.
  • Work alongside Indigenous pastors and interpreters.
  • Connect new believers to local churches for discipleship and ongoing care.

Everything we do is grounded in the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit, not hype or pressure.

Why Manitoba?

Behind every statistic and news headline are real families longing for peace, stability, and the hope only Jesus can bring.

Recent wildfires have displaced families and intensified long-standing pain in many communities.
While government aid covers physical needs, few initiatives address the wounds of the heart.

This outreach is a step toward reconciliation — serving, praying, and standing with our Indigenous brothers and sisters in humility and love.

How You Can Help

Your prayer and generosity make this mission possible. Every donation directly supports relief efforts, healing prayer ministry, and local church outreach across Manitoba.

Give to send hope & healing:

  • $25 → blanket + food package for 1–2 days
  • $100 → family support for 3–5 days
  • $500 → supplies + healing outreach for a household (2 weeks)

Every gift funds relief supplies, travel, and training for local ministry teams.
All donations are received transparently through our Charitable Impact account. We steward every gift with prayer, integrity, and accountability before God and our partners.

Partnering With the Local Church

We’re honoured to come alongside the local church in Winnipeg that’s already reaching those affected by recent wildfires and ongoing trauma.
Our heart is to strengthen what God is already doing through their community — helping believers grow in confidence to minister healing and hope in Jesus’ name.
We’re not coming to lead our own initiative, but to serve under local leadership and build up what’s already thriving.

As part of this partnership, we’ll host a Healing Prayer & Outreach Workshop — a time for believers to receive, be refreshed, and then be equipped to pray for others with gentleness and faith.
In this setting, we often see that personal healing becomes the foundation for compassionate ministry — those who experience God’s love and wholeness are the first to share it with others.

During past gatherings, we’ve seen God move powerfully in healing and restoration.
Here are a few testimonies from those who’ve been equipped and transformed through prayer:

"After being at one of the prayer nights, I felt cleansed — like I’d made a real connection with God. It showed me that prayer doesn’t have to be quiet or hidden, but open and honest. You can ask for what you need and see God answer."
"I was struggling with anxiety and confusion, but through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, I experienced peace and healing I didn’t think was possible. Now I walk in freedom and clarity.
"Since the first prayer night, I’ve encountered the power of Spirit-led prayer and healing in a way I never had before. Everything is rooted in Scripture, and I’ve been equipped to pray with confidence and help others experience God’s love and truth."
Noah C.

These stories remind us that healing and hope multiply when people encounter Jesus — and then share His love with others.

This partnership helps the local church continue ministering long after the outreach — raising up people who carry healing, hope, and the heart of Jesus into their communities.

Ongoing Impact

What begins as relief and prayer grows into long-term restoration through local believers.

This outreach isn’t a one-time event — it’s a journey of partnership and restoration.

We’ll come alongside the local church to prepare and equip believers for ministry, then join together to serve families through hands-on relief, prayer, and encouragement.

Our heart is to see lasting fruit: healed lives, strengthened communities, and ongoing discipleship carried forward by the church long after we return home.

Whether through prayer, partnership, or encouragement, you can be part of what God is doing in Manitoba.
